not comfortable enough to be a NB
I love New Balance shoes and rarely have a complaint, but these didn't live up to the name. They dug into my ankle and I was never quite able to break them in. They're probably as comfortable as Nikes or some other shoes I've bought, but not as good for running as I expect from NB. Choose another model.

I'm a certified personal trainer and avid lifter.
I got these really just to wear at work because I like the design and because they are somewhat flat, meaning I can do heavy lifts with little risk of ankle roll (lifters know what I mean--I usually wear vans or Chucks when I go heavy).
These shoes really aren't all that great though. They look great, but don't provide anymore structure than the vans or other flats. The ankle pad...
